What is a HYPA?
Health and Young Person’s Advice Centres
Who will be there?
These are usually staffed by:
- A trained sexual health nurse
- A school nurse
- A youth Worker
- An Outreach worker from Drinksense
And sometimes other agencies are part of the scheme as either full time participants or just at the request of young people
What help can I get there?
Sexual health advice
Free contraception, including condoms
Alcohol/safe drinking advice for you or family/friends
Help with bullying
Stop smoking advice
Self harm
Someone to chat to who will listen to your concerns/problems

HYPAs are open at the following places and times, please drop-in and see us!
Mondays:
Ken Stimpson : 12.45pm - 1.30pm
Tuesdays:
Orton Longueville School : 12.35pm - 1.20pm
Orminston Bushfield Academy : 3pm - 4pm
Wednesdays:
Kings School : 1.20pm - 2.15pm
Thursdays:
Stanground College : 12.20pm - 1.20pm
Voyager School : 12.25pm - 1.15pm
Thomas Deacon Academy (Health Choices Drop-in) : 2.45pm - 4.30pm
